What is PH?

The letters "PH" stand for "potential of hydrogen" and simply measures how acidic or alkaline your body is on a logarithmic scale from 0 -14. Your body will work hard to keep your organ tissues in PH balance. An optimal body PH is 7.4. This PH level can be achieved by a diet high in alkaline foods, avoiding foods that are acidic, and drinking water with a higher PH level. When you think of a good alkaline vs acidic diet think 80/20. 80% of your diet should be alkaline foods and 20% of your diet can be more of the acidic foods.
